Dumb... simply dumb. And not because this is a bad car... it's a great little car - I drove one for a week in Ireland. Fun, sporty, and amazingly frugal on gas mileage - with the 1.0 liter 5spd. 55MPG - that's the reason you bring this to America otherwise it's a joke. If you are going to bring a little ECONO mini car to the US it will fail if it's not economical. Hell- the Ford Focus does better mpg and you can fit folks in it. I would have bought the Smart already if the tranny would have been decent and it would have gotten good gas mileage. PLEASE nothing bigger than the 1.33 liter.
